Wrangler NFR® Contestants Visit Grant a Gift for Rodeo Fun & Holiday Cheer
Two top-caliber contestants – Tim O’Connell and Coleman Proctor – took a break from bucking horses and roping steers to spend some time with the children at Grant a Gift Autism Foundation this past Saturday, December 16th. The contestants are in Las Vegas for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
O’Connell is a three-time Bareback Riding World Champion and Proctor is an eighth-time NFR Team Roping (Header) Qualifier!
They brought a lot of holiday cheer to the children and families bringing 2 horses, conducting a roping tutorial, and ended the day with holiday crafts in the library.
At the same time, Grant a Gift was holding a sensory-friendly Santa Photo Experience and Santa was able to join in on some of the fun as well!
We are so grateful to the Wrangler NFR® team for partnering with Grant a Gift year after year on this event. This was the fifth time contestants have visited and it is always such a joyful holiday event for everyone in the autism and neurodiverse community.
