An Evening at SkyVu: Charity Event in Partnership with Christopher Homes Raises $30K for Grant a Gift

At the end of May, Grant a Gift partnered with Christopher Homes and SkyVu at MacDonald Highlands to host the stunning "Charity, Cocktails & City Views" event. Hosts Gary Ackerman, Chairman of the Board, and J. Christopher Stuhmer of Christopher Homes, welcomed esteemed donors and new friends as they were treated to an exclusive experience, visiting three homes in SkyVu, Christopher Homes’ newest luxury neighborhood, nestled within the prestigious 24-hour guard-gated community of MacDonald Highlands, known for its DragonRidge Golf Club.

As attendees explored each exquisite home, they savored a progressive dinner and gourmet delights from Wolfgang Puck and enjoyed an array of spirits and cocktails sponsored by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Nevada and Raygoza Tequila. The evening was further enlivened by pop-up shop activations featuring Sky Diamonds, STITCHED, Gina Cueto Jewelry, James Paul Cheung Designs, Saint Laurent, and artwork by Elena Bulatova, among others. Guests also had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win incredible prizes from many of these generous partners.

Each guest donated a bottle of wine with a value of $100 or more upon arrival. All 56 bottles were then displayed throughout the evening, with raffle tickets being sold for the collection. The lucky winner generously donated back half the collection to be auctioned off at the upcoming gala on November 13th, 2024!

With over 150 attendees, the event successfully raised nearly $30K for Grant a Gift to go towards our mission of providing comprehensive clinical services, resources, education, research, and advocacy for individuals, families, and our community living with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners, especially Christopher Homes and SkyVu, for making this evening possible. Enjoy the gallery of pictures above, capturing the philanthropic spirit of the night.
