Grant a Gift Autism Foundation Ackerman Center’s Annual Gala Raises $1.5 Million for Families Living with Autism
Grant a Gift Autism Foundation Ackerman Center thanks everyone who contributed to the tremendous success of our 11th annual Gala held on October 6th on the field at Allegiant Stadium.
Because of the generosity of our sponsors, auction winners, donors, table buyers, attendees, and volunteers, we raised $1.5 Million and will advance our important work providing family-centered care to children and young adults with autism, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
A very special thanks goes to our presenting sponsors Gaudin Motor Company and Smile Generation and to the Las Vegas Raiders for hosting us as the first charity gala on the field at Allegiant Stadium.
The evening was not only a fundraising success but also a fun night filled with surprises from start to finish thanks to our exceptional emcee Mark Shunock, our friends from Blue Man Group, and a special appearance from the United States Air Force Thunderbirds.
We were privileged to recognize our three honorees: the Las Vegas Raiders, former interim UNLV President Marta Meana, and Sletten Companies.
Attendees learned that we have served over 5,000 families since opening the Ackerman Center. Unfortunately, more than 5,000 children are still on our waiting list. If you were unable to attend the gala but would like to make a gift to help us reduce the wait for these children, you can donate here.
