Expanding Our Reach: Grant a Gift's Commitment to Supporting Families in 2024
A message from Grant a Gift Board Chair, Gary Ackerman
I am so fiercely proud of the work and progress that Brian Hager, president, and his team at Grant A Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center have made this past year. We have been able to continue to grow our staff of outstanding providers, adding 17 new providers in 2023.
This is our most important goal as it allows us to keep assisting more and more families that are awaiting diagnosis. The diagnosis is the most critical step as it allows our team to provide the proper direction to our families when it comes to treatment. In 2023 we welcomed 735 new patients and a total of 12,183 visits to our clinic which equated to a 40% year-over-year increase.
Our primary goal for 2024 is to continue this growth and to continue working towards helping more families in need. Our amazing donors and their support have made all this possible. We have great momentum as we work towards moving into our new home and doubling our space and capacity to serve our community.
Grant a Gift is focused on improving our community's ability to deal with autism and the other developmental hurdles that we deal with. Every penny we raise stays here in our community helping these families. We are grateful and blessed to have the support of our donors.
