2021: A Year of Transformation for Grant a Gift

Valued Clients, Team Members, Donors, Board Members and Volunteers,

2021 was a year of transformation for the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center. We had a change in leadership in early spring, and we assumed full operational and financial responsibility and control of the Ackerman Center in July. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the partnership we forged with UNLV and the School of Medicine, but it was time to chart a new course for the Ackerman Center, all with the intent to improve operational efficiencies and provide more flexibility so we can serve more families in the community. With the help of one of our best fundraising years ever, thanks to our Donors and Sponsors of our Annual Gala in October, we have built a strong, sustainable foundation that we can now build on. This will allow us to expand services, increase capacity and reduce our extensive wait list.

We have so much more work to do to continue helping families master living with Autism. 2022 and beyond will bring change, growth, and improvement to everything we do. None of this will be achievable without the ongoing support from all of you.

Thank you for your past support and thank you in advance for all we will do together in 2022 and beyond. Our community needs us. Our families need us. Nobody should feel alone and helpless when trying to help their family, nor should they need to leave Southern Nevada to find the answers and care they need. Grant a Gift – Ackerman Center is more committed than ever to be there to provide best in class service and support.

Wishing all of you all a safe and prosperous 2022.
