16th Annual Race for Hope Fun Run Welcomes 1000+ Participants & 45+ Resource Fair Vendors

On Saturday, April 12th, the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation - Ackerman Center held its 16th Annual RACE FOR HOPE fun run at Town Square Las Vegas. This year, we set a new record with 1000+ participants — our highest turnout ever! We also welcomed an all-time high of 45 resource fair vendors, each sharing important resources and support with our community.

Ultimately, this year’s Race for Hope raised over $100,000 that will go towards family-centered clinical care, therapy, and social programming for children and young adults living with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.

"We are so grateful to everyone who came together for this year’s Race for Hope," said Brian Hager, President of Grant a Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center. "Each year, our community shows up with even more heart, energy, and commitment to embracing neurodiversity. Let’s continue to carry the spirit of autism acceptance beyond April and into every day of the year."

Major sponsors for this year’s event included the Vegas Golden Knights, Gaudin Motor Company, Southwest Gas, FRANSiS, and SOAR ABA. Their support, combined with the proceeds from the Race For Hope, will go towards care, support, therapy, and social programming at the Ackerman Center so that we are able to help families in Southern Nevada receive necessary services when insurance does not cover the full cost.

Thank you as well to UR Watur, Pinkbox Doughnuts, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, LV Cause Players, Chance & Vegas Golden Knights Cheerleaders, and Vegas Valley Balloons for your support in making event day an enjoyable experience!

To our valuable media partners - Sunny 106.5, Outdoor Solutions, Las Vegas Billboards, Reagan Outdoor Advertising, Clear Channel Outdoor, Lamar Advertising Company, and ContentGro - THANK YOU! The Race for Hope would not be as successful as it is without your reach across the Las Vegas Valley. Thank you for helping us spread the word!
